Dr. Alyssa Thompson is a general adult psychiatrist and welcomes individuals of all genders at the clinic. However, she has a special passion for women's mental health and reproductive psychiatry. The practice sees adults aged 18 and up for medication management, supportive therapy, insight-oriented psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and lifestyle/wellness counseling.
Patients will be seen in a private, comfortable and safe setting with care given to each individual's personal needs and health status.
Dr. Thompson does not believe that a "10 minute med check" is an acceptable standard of care for any of her patients. All routine psychiatric care visits are scheduled for 30 minutes and include supportive therapy to address current stressors and work on coping strategies as part of the treatment plan. Intake sessions are a full 75 minutes to allow time to discuss a person's unique care needs and review important aspects of a person's medical, psychiatric, and social history.
Ms. Rikki Murray is the office secretary and a licensed CMA. She will get you scheduled, submit your billing, and check you in for your appointment.
She can be reached at the main office line by pressing option 1.
